Thank you

“My first special thank you has to go to my amazing husband, Dave, who is not only my best friend but the most fabulous daddy to our twin boys Jack and Harry.

Both of our boutiques (previous and current) would not have even been possible without his time, effort, support, and of course the physical hard work and skill in refitting both buildings to make them the stunning boutiques they became.

Not only is Dave always there when anything needs fixing or doing at the boutique he is also present at every buying trip when we are choosing our gowns as well as being the person who listens and advises me whenever I need it.

Every decision made is not only a family decision but a team decision and I’m so proud of how he helps me every day.

We were married in December 2012 and our beautiful twin boys arrived in October 2015. Saturday is always ‘Daddy Daycare Day’ – the boys love it but the house can sometimes be a mess! Sundays are all about family time; going swimming, playing in the park, visiting Grandparents and spending time together.

Mum & Dad

“Finally, meet my brilliant mum and dad, Judith and Mike. Ever since I can remember these two have supported and loved me unconditionally and are not only two fabulous parents but two great friends.

When I made the call to say I’d seen a bridal boutique for let (the start of Emma Louise Bridal at 302 Wigan Road) and what my vision was and that I wanted to give up teaching they were behind me wholeheartedly by saying. ‘We think it’s a brilliant idea – you’ll do amazing!”

I remember Dad arriving at work within my first few weeks to bring me a yellow rose and card to say how incredibly proud he was of me.

My Dad used to have his own business (ripening bananas of all things) and if I could achieve a fraction of what he did then I knew that Emma Louise Bridal would be a success.

In 2017 when I called them again to say I wanted to move and expand Emma Louise Bridal they were once again so encouraging and the boutique’s elegant and welcoming décor is heavily influenced by my Mum’s good eye!

So a massive thank you to these two amazing people!

Sadly Dad passed away on 27th October 2018 after a battle with Alzheimer’s.”
